DENTIST

A full time, a non-exempt position responsible for administering, maintaining and expanding a program of primary (and in selected instances, secondary care) and preventive dental care in a community health center setting. Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Florida. Current CPR (BLS) certifications.

 

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act. Also, coordinate and organize appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office. Spanish Speaking preferred.

 

DENTAL HYGIENIST

Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies, charting conditions of decay and disease, performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act. Prepares treatment room for patients by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.

 

ELIGIBILITY SPECIALIST

The Eligibility Specialist will understand the mission of BCHC. Successful performance of job duties will directly impact health system goals to reduce registration responsibilities of schedulers and front desk staff, reduces insurance denials resulting from registration errors, and reduce insurance denials resulting from failure to obtain correct insurance eligibility and /or prior authorizations.

 

HIM SPECIALIST

Responsible for all phases of Medical Records operation in the Health Information department. Assures the proper maintenance and analysis of all patient records for accuracy and completeness for all services of the Center. The HIM Specialist will assist in quality improvement activities.

 

HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR

Manages the Human Resources department, establishes and administers the Center's personnel program including recruiting employees, developing and updating personnel policies, employee relations. Also responsible for the creation and maintenance of employee files; Previous experience credentialing and re-credentialing licensed medical providers in an ambulatory care setting. SHRM-CP/SCP certification.

 

INTAKE SPECIALIST

This position will include the performance of all front desk functions including, appointments, registration, eligibility verification; “greeting” all patients/customers in a most friendly and courteous manner.

 

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER – Behavioral Health

The Social Worker position requires knowledge and practice of administrative/clinical social work and social services planning in this comprehensive primary health care setting. The LCSW will provide assessments of patients for substance abuse, mental health, family and social needs and services. Coordinates access to needed services for clinic patients, identifies patient barriers to accessing recommended services, and assists patients identifying the means to overcome those barriers.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

The Medical Assistant can specialize in either the Administrative or Clinical aspect of the job or be multi-functional. Competence requires 3 communication skills, recognition, and response to emergencies, adherence to ethical and legal standards, and demonstrable professional characteristics. MA and CPR certifications required.

 

SOCIAL WORKER – Primary Care

The Social Worker position requires knowledge and practice of administrative/clinical social work and social services planning in this comprehensive primary health care setting. The position coordinates access to needed services for primary care patients, identifies patient barriers to accessing recommended services, and assists patients in identifying the means to overcome those barriers.

 

MOBILE UNIT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

Oversee administrative and operational activities of the mobile unit to include staffing, utilization and scheduling, patient eligibility and registration, and site selections. The Administrator will work closely with the medical and dental teams as well as with the Coordinator of Community Relations and Outreach. Frequent local and regional travel required. Other duties as required. Bachelor’s in health administration, Public Health, or related field; three years or longer experience in ambulatory or mobile health administration; knowledge of BPHC and FQHC policies and standards, including FTCA, UDS reporting, and use of the UDS mapper and data tables. Candidate must be a good communicator and capable of preparing federal reports, writing proposals, negotiating contracts and MOUs. CDL license NOT required, but the candidate must have an adequate driving record to be placed on Bond’s auto insurance. Clear level II background screen and job references.

 

NURSING SUPERVISOR

The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and directing the clinical personnel, as well as balancing the schedules of the nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage. The Nursing Supervisor will promote and maintain excellent working relationships with our physicians and staff to ensure safe and proper care of our patients. Must have current RN license, CPR certification, minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in ambulatory healthcare required.

 

QUALITY OUTCOMES COORDINATOR

The Quality Outcomes Coordinator will assist with data collection and making initial contact via telephonic service and mail services. The Quality Outcomes Coordinator will possess a clinical background in order to participate and lead customer service health events to promote proactive health care. Minimum of one-year experience in the medical clinic. Knowledge of insurance industry and data collection. Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant Certification desired, or equivalent experience.

 

SECURITY OFFICER

The position will include the performance of all front desk functions including switchboard, appointments, registration, eligibility verification, “greeting” all patients/customers in a most friendly and courteous manner. Spanish speaking.

 

SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR

The position will include the performance of all front desk functions including switchboard, appointments, registration, eligibility verification, “greeting” all patients/customers in a most friendly and courteous manner. Spanish speaking.
